Fruit sweetens up city's economy in SW China's Sichuan

Huaying city, located in Southwest China's Sichuan province, has developed an economy around the planting and picking of agricultural products such as grapes, sweet pears and blueberries.

Through actively adjusted planting structures and developing fruit-picking tourism, the local agricultural industry has improved with stronger market competitiveness, brought more income to local farmers, and assisted in rural revitalization of the city.
