Hubei province in Central China is the country's major transportation hub and a cradle of Chinese civilization. With picturesque mountains and rivers, it offers a charming and even romantic destination for travelers.

The ancient Chu culture originated and flourished here. Qu Yuan, one of the world's four literary celebrities, was born here. His patriotism and touching poetry have influenced people for generations.
