St. Teresa Secondary School and Pui Kiu College held national flag-raising ceremony with the scientists.

Although it was raining, Zhang arrived at the St. Teresa Secondary School quite early. Upon Zhang's arrival, she was surrounded by enthusiastic students holding national flags, seeking answers of questions they were curious about.

Zhang received a special gift from the school –cards with her picture on them for her to sign. A cartoon shape inflated astronaut was placed on stage together with Zhang, during the interaction at the school's auditorium.

Zhao Xiaojin, vice-president of the China Academy of Space Technology who is heading the delegation, said during the exchange activity in Queen's College that he hopes the sharing of scientists could inspire Hong Kong students' interests in science and aerospace, and motivate them to contribute to the nation.

Other delegates will visit three more schools later in the afternoon. They include Xie Jun, deputy chief designer of China's Beidou Navigation Satellite System, Sun Zezhou, chief designer of the Tianwen-1 Mars probe, and Hu Hao, chief designer of China's third-phase lunar exploration program.
