Six-year-old Li Jiamin from Xinzhou, Shanxi province, practices back handsprings every day and has made rapid progress. She can do 110 in a row and more than 80 in one minute. Now she will attempt to set a world record.

"I found she was quite interested in a video about somersaults when she was a 4-year-old," said her father, Li Ertong. "Then I began to teach her some basic kung fu skills, such as doing back somersaults and back handsprings."

The young girl showed great talent and could perform back handsprings after six months of practice.

Now Jiamin and her father are preparing to challenge a Guinness World Record for back handsprings.

"The Guinness record for back handsprings is 50 in one minute, and my daughter can do at least 80," he said.
