Chinese actors read letters written by revolutionary martyrs

Marking the centenary of the Communist Party of China, veteran Chinese actors including Wu Jing'an, Du Ninglin and Zong Ping gathered in Beijing to hold a performance combining music and reciting poems and letters wrote by revolutionary martyrs at the Beijing Comedy Theater on July 17.

The letters read during the show included CPC member Zhao Yiman's letter to her son she wrote before she died in 1936, the letter revolutionary hero Lin Juemin wrote to his wife and the poem Monument, which was written by Pushkin in 1836, a year before his death.

On the same day, Poly Culture Group Corporation Limited and Tianjin Group announced the collaboration on managing Beijing Comedy Theater.
