Flocks of seagulls have been seen swarming the Hunchun River in Hunchun city to rest and seek for food. The city is located in the Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture in Northeast China's Jilin province.

Photographers captured images of the birds busy searching for food and just taking a rest, preparing for the long journey ahead to migrate to the south.

Over the past several years, Hunchun has placed great emphasis on its ecological development. It has made huge progress in improving its environment and increasing its biodiversity.

As a result, the city has attracted large flocks of migratory birds each spring and fall due to the pleasant climate and good ecological conditions.
