Zhang Guilin, head of Beijing's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, said the city will accelerate its deep integration of the digital and real economy and promote the digital transformation of enterprises.
The commission will boost the transformation from five aspects, including promoting digital innovation in industry and enhancing digital management, Zhang said.
"A core requirement of digital State-owned enterprises is to improve the overall basic competence of industry. Modernization of the industrial chain through the promotion of deep integration within the State-owned economy is also required," he said.
Leaders of enterprises in high-tech industry shared their experience, discussing cutting-edge theories and strategies for the digital economy.
The Zhongguancun Digital Economic Industry Alliance was also inaugurated at the meeting. The alliance was a national social organization consisting of more than 300 companies aiming to advance digital economic industrial clusters and maintain integrity between the digital and real economy.
