Chinese artificial intelligence company Hanvon Technology unveiled its latest robot bird on Thursday, one of the first commercially-available bionic flapping robot birds worldwide.

The robot bird comes in two styles —the mighty bald eagle and the noble peacock. Dubbed the Go Go Bird 1020, the gadget boasts a length of 42 centimeters and a wingspan of 60 centimeters.

With its cutting-edge bionic flapping flight technology, intelligent sensing technology as well as AI, it looks like a real bird in flight. Users can use a controller to fly the bird.

According to Wang Jie, vice president of Hanvon, the new gadget can be a perfect toy for both kids and young people.

"The company is striving to upgrade products for more applications in areas like agriculture, safety and supervision," he said.

On Thursday, the company also launched its latest electronic notebook, e-dictionary and a face recognition-enabled attendance machine.
