Marine economy expo sets course for Shenzhen

The 2021 China Marine Economy Expo will take place in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, from Nov 25 to 27, the organizing committee has announced.

The expo is the biggest of its kind in the country and a major chance for companies to display developments in domestic and global marine industries.

The 2021 edition of the expo has received applications from around 600 domestic and foreign enterprises and research organizations that want to take part, including all major Chinese companies involved in the marine industries.

The expo will highlight six topics, including marine resources, advanced equipment, and marine biomedicine, organizers said.

Nearly 400 business leaders and experts will share their thoughts and suggestions at 12 forums during the expo.

And around 20 themed workshops will be held to discuss topics ranging from biological resources and mineral development to underwater robots.
