More than 30,000 HK residents visit exhibition on Chinese architecture
More than 30,000 Hong Kong residents visited a six-day exhibition held in the special administrative region, featuring the long history of Chinese architecture and the great achievements of Chinese construction in the new era, the exhibition organizers said.
The exhibition, which opened on Monday afternoon at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, wrapped up on Saturday. Featuring historical photos, construction models and multimedia content, it offered an interactive experience of the country's architectural beauty and construction technologies.
More than 200 groups of different sectors in Hong Kong toured the exhibition, including the Housing Department of the HKSAR Government and professional bodies in urban planning, design, construction and surveying, the organizers said.
