China begins construction of Serbia portion of railway linked to Hungary

Upon completion, the railway's Serbia section will be 108 kilometers long with 11 stations. The railway is expected to complete construction in 33 months. It will benefit residents along the line and boost economic and social development in the region.

It will promote China-Europe cooperation and expand business and economic exchanges, the company said.
