5.6-magnitude quake hits 39 km ENE of Lae, Papua New Guinea -- USGS

HONG KONG - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted 39 km east-northeast of Lae, Papua New Guinea at 13:16 GMT on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 70.55 km, was initially determined to be at 6.5982 degrees south latitude and 147.3301 degrees east longitude.
