"Many of my fellow workers also prepared to return to work. We were already familiar with the working and living environment," she said.

According to the human resources and social security authority in Guangdong, two more special trains, carrying about 1,200 migrant workers from Guizhou and Yunnan provinces, will be scheduled in the days ahead.

More than 8 million migrant workers left Guangdong to travel to their hometowns before the Spring Festival holiday, which began on Jan 31. It is estimated that more than 90 percent of the workers will return to their previous positions.
