This space station sprang from the earth

Xie Hongxing recently became an online celebrity and a household name in Nanping, a city in the northern Wuyi Mountain area of Fujian province.

The 39-year-old Xie recently built a miniature Tiangong space station made of bamboo, amazing many local residents and online friends who praised his superb workmanship.

On Douyin, the popular short-video platform, Xie surprises many netizens by using a knife to quickly cut bamboo into pieces of uniform width on his workbench. He said it took 46 days to complete his miniature space station.
