WARSAW -- Both China's men's and women's quadruple won their finals races at the World Rowing Cup II in Poznan, Poland on Sunday.

The men's team of Zang Ha, Yi Xudi, Liu Zhiyu and Adilijiang Sulitan led the first 500m before Poland, which was supported by the home crowd, closed to trail just 0.24 seconds on the last 500m mark. However, China hung on to win in five minutes and 58.44 seconds.

It was Estonia who finished second in 6:00.18, while the hosts took the bronze medal.

In the women's quadruple, Chen Yunxia, Lu Shiyu, Lyu Yang and Cui Xiaotong, which produced the fastest time in the heat, overcame the Netherlands to cross the line with a result of 6:30.68. The second was Switzerland (6:32.38) thanks to a wobble in the Dutch boat.

In the lightweight women's double sculls Final A, China took the fourth position, the same as in the women's double sculls crucial race.
