Admission letter from university inspires freshman

In addition to an admission letter, Li also got two lotus seeds as gifts from the university, which he thought were the most meaningful gifts.

The lotus seeds, which depict noble qualities in Chinese art, were sent by the university to all freshmen hoping to inspire them to keep their original aspirations while marching toward a bright future.

"I think it's a spirit passing from generation to generation. I will certainly bear them in mind," Li said.
