Water lily champion now runs a flower park

Twenty-seven-year-old Li Zijun, who became a fan of water lilies at the age of 10, is running a 0.73-hectare park of the plant in Foshan, Guangdong province.

The park includes opportunities for sightseeing, new species cultivation and species resource storage.

More than 300 species of water lilies grow in the park, mostly introduced from Europe, Japan, South Korea and Thailand, and including more than 30 cultivated by Li himself.
