According to Xiao Yusong, Party chief of the Wuhan Branch of China Railway Major Bridge Reconnaissance & Design Institute Co, the Xiangbei bridge's swivel is the largest and heaviest multi-point support and fully automatic control swivel bridge in China.
"It is also the bridge that spans the most railway tracks in the country," Xiao said.
