New metro train does double duty

The train uses a new operating mode that can switch between direct current and alternating current on different parts of the line in suburban and urban areas.
Currently, China's metro transit power supply system is usually divided into 25-kilowatt alternating current for suburban lines and 1.5-kV direct current for urban lines.
