A light snowfall dusted Zhangjiakou, Hebei province, on Thursday, inspiring residents to take photos of whirling snowflakes.
Among other places, snow fell in Kangbao county and Zhangjiakou's Chongli district, where some events of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games were held.
The city issued a cold weather warning.
