CIIE offers broad, fruitful ecosystem, executive says

The China International Import Expo offers a broad and fruitful ecosystem for enterprises to start new relationships, said Pablo Machado, global executive director of Suzano, the world's largest hardwood pulp producer, to China Daily website during an exclusive interview at the fifth CIIE.

Having maintained a business relationship with China since the 1980s, the nearly century-old bio-based solutions company has made another appearance at the expo this year, as China is crucial to its business, accounting for over 40 percent of the company's overall exports.

Companies, whether Chinese or foreign, that can contribute to China's transition from high-speed to high-quality development, will be successful in China, he added.
