A Date with Beautiful Sichuan: Xianshi Soy Sauce

There is an old saying that goes "Chishui River flows through the ages. Wine is brewed in the upper reach and soy sauce is brewed in the lower reach". It proves that the unique natural environment and climatic conditions on the banks of the Chishui River in Hejiang county, Luzhou city, Sichuan province allow soy sauce to brew with excellent quality. The traditional soy sauce brewing craft of Xianshi town in Hejiang county has a long history and was included in the Representative List of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the State Council in 2014.
