2023 Happy Chinese New Year events announced

Among the celebration events, "Echoes of Poems from Tang Dynasty", a music concert, will be staged in Philadelphia and New York on Jan 6 and 7, 2023. Fifteen young singers from 10 countries will cooperate with the Philadelphia Orchestra to sing ancient poems in Chinese. On Jan 14, the 2023 Happy Chinese New Year launch project concert jointly organized by China National Traditional Orchestra and Suzhou Symphony Orchestra will be broadcast to the world simultaneously.
Both Zhao and Lang introduced the creation and rehearsal of a concert "Happy Chinese New Year Harmonious Coexistence" and shared their feelings as cultural ambassadors of Happy Chinese New Year.
The press conference also released the mascot of 2023 Happy Chinese New Year. As the coming Chinese New Year is the Year of the Rabbit, the mascot, designed by Central Academy of Fine Arts, is a cute rabbit with long ears based on the shape of a lucky bag.
