Guangzhou procuratorate approves arrest of man who drove into crowd

The procuratorate of Guangzhou, Guangdong province has approved the arrest of the man who drove a car into a crowd, killing five and injuring 13.
The driver, surnamed Wen, was suspected for endangering public security by dangerous means, the procuratorate said in a statement on Saturday. The case is now still under process.
Twenty-two-year-old Wen, from Jieyang of Guangdong, was immediately controlled by police after the accident in Guangzhou's Tianhe district in the afternoon on January 11.
