A series of celebrations will run until Feb 6, the day after Lantern Festival.

At an intangible cultural heritage market, Yangliuqing woodblock printing with New Year's features, kites, paper-cuttings and other examples of intangible cultural heritage were on display, attracting tourists.

Free gifts of Spring Festival couplets written by leading calligraphers are provided to visitors, creating a festive atmosphere for the Chinese Lunar New Year.
