Masked monks perform a Cham dance to celebrate Losar, the Tibetan New Year, at the Tsurphu Monastery in Lhasa, capital of the Tibet autonomous region on Feb 20. Cham dance is a costumed ritual performed by Tibetan Buddhist monks to exorcise evil spirits and pray for blessings. The Tibetan New Year falls on Tuesday. LI LIN/CHINA NEWS SERVICE
