At the 2023 Winter Dew Tour in Copper Mountain, 11-year-old Patti Zhou Yizhu of China took a historic silver in the women's snowboard superpipe final, becoming the youngest ever medalist in the event's history! In an exclusive interview with China Daily's On Your Marks, the Gen Z snowboard prodigy shares her stories and experiences in winter sports.
In the video, Zhou expresses her gratitude toward and deep love for her parents, thanking them for their support and giving her the determination to keep progressing. When asked about her role model, Zhou said she wants "to be as resilient and as determined as my father".
