Sino-European development conference kicks off

The First Sino-European Green and Innovative Development Conference kicked off in Jiangmen, Guangdong province, on Friday, providing a platform for expanding exchanges and cooperation on the development of a green economy and promotion of high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises.

The two-day event, which includes forums, salons, sub-forums exchanges and field visits, also offers a channel for officials, experts and business executives to have in-depth discussions on issues such as green policies and measures for industrial development, green growth, the investment environment for business, high-quality development of the silicon energy industry and international green development cooperation among enterprises from China and Europe.

Senior officials, academicians, experts, scholars and senior business executives will be invited to exchange and share their views on the development trend of green industries and the economy.

More than 500 officials, experts, scholars and senior business executives from China and Europe are attending the event, which is jointly hosted by the China Center for Promotion of SME Development, China International Cooperation Association of SMEs and the Jiangmen city government.

Meanwhile, the center and Jiangmen signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to promote green development for SMEs.
