Changan's latest CS75 Plus SUV hits market

State-owned carmaker Changan launched its third-generation CS75 Plus on Wednesday.
The compact model, available in five variants, has a future-oriented design, with elements of technology.
It has two engine options: a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, and both engines go with an 8-speed transmission.
The former enables the SUV to generate a maximum output of 138 kW and a top torque of 300 Nm, and the figures for the latter stand at 171 kW and 390 Nm.
In terms of onboard features, the CS75 Plus has the smart wide head-up display, the facial recognition, gesture control as well as fatigue detection.
The carmaker expects the third-generation model to continue the performance its predecessors have achieved.
Changan's CS75 series could trace its origin back to 2014. They have since saw accumulative sales to exceed 2 million units.
