As summer nears, farmers in Guizhou seize the moment

Approaching the start of summer, farmers in Shibing county in Guizhou province seized the moment to plow fields and plant summer crops — vegetables and fruits that grow best in hot weather. Others monitored crops for weed control, fertilizer needs and pest management, and they thinned fruit for a better yield.
