Chinese Music Tutorial: 'Journey in the Desert' on 'Sanxian'

The strings are brisk and the percussion rumbles with unpredictable rhythms.

Performed by musicians Wang Peipei and Tong Shengyuan, the "sanxian" (three-stringed Chinese lute) and hand drum in "Journey in the Desert" create imagery of a mysterious desert sunset.
