Banquet of Queen Mother in Jade Pond draws inspiration from the mythical encounter between the Queen Mother of the West and King Mu of the Western Zhou Dynasty (c. 11th century-771 BC) at the Jade Pond. With ancient poet Li Shangyin's poetic work, Jade Pond, as a creative framework, this performance showcases the innovative use of multimedia technology and choreography. Employing cinematic expressions, it beautifully crafts a charming and vivid portrayal of the Queen Mother of the West, captivating the audience's imagination.
