Truck parade marks 70 years for FAW Group
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of China FAW Group, a leading automaker based in Changchun, Jilin province, FAW Jiefang Automotive Co, a subsidiary, organized a truck parade on Monday.
The parade, including 17 trucks from the first generation FAW Jiefang CA10 truck to the latest generation FAW Jiefang J7, wound its way from the first automobile factory of FAW Jiefang past several city landmarks, such as Culture Square and People's Square, attracting a lot of attention.
After returning to the factory, the trucks were displayed to the public. Many residents and tourists took photos and remembered the old days.
Established in 1953 and starting production in 1956, FAW now serves as a leader in promoting industrial revitalization and makes a big contribution to regional economic growth.
