China's wind power industry has experienced remarkable growth in recent years. With an unwavering commitment to renewable energy, the country actively expanded wind farms to harness its abundant wind resources.

As of April, China's installed wind power capacity stood at 380 million kilowatts, a year-on-year growth of 12.2 percent. That makes the country the world's largest wind power producer, contributing about 60 percent of the world's total wind power production.

China has also been successful in building one of the world's largest wind turbine manufacturing sectors. The country now boasts the world's largest onshore and offshore wind turbine network in terms of capacity, the world's largest rotor diameter at an onshore wind turbine that is currently being produced, and the world's longest wind turbine blade.
