Qu Dongyu was re-elected as director-general of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on Sunday in Rome. [Photo/Xinhua]

Qu Dongyu was re-elected as director-general of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on Sunday in Rome during the ongoing 43rd session of the FAO Conference.

His new term will run from Aug 1, 2023 to July 31, 2027.
