Dragon fruit blooms light up community

A fruit orchard spanning over 66 hectares is witnessing the bloom of dragon fruit flowers at a community in Xiamen, Fujian province.

Recently, as darkness falls, the orchard at the Dazhai community of Xiang'an district becomes illuminated, attracting numerous local residents and tourists to admire the large, snow-white blossoms.

Though their flowering season extends from June to January the following year, the dragon fruit flowers only bloom at night. The diameter of the flower might reach up to 25 centimeters and can emit a refreshing fragrance.
