EV maker Zeekr's largest showroom opens in Beijing

Zeekr, a premium electric marque under Geely Holding Group, opened its largest showroom on Saturday at Wangfujing Street in downtown Beijing.

The two-storey center, which covers around 1,300 square meters, has brought Zeekr's number of dealerships to over 300 across 75 cities in the country, said Zhao Yuhui, vice-president of the marque.

Zeekr's growing dealership network is expected to drive further its sales. The brand now has three models available in the market.

It delivered 10,620 vehicles in June, up 147 percent year-on-year. Its deliveries in the first half this year reached 42,633 units, up 124 percent from the same period last year.

Zeekr is expanding its charging infrastructure. Statistics show that by the first week of July, it had built around 750 charging stations in around 130 cities in the country.

The brand is accelerating its globalization campaign. Deliveries for the Zeekr 001 crossover and the Zeekr X SUV are set to begin later this year in Europe, said the company, adding that its first showrooms will be built in Sweden and the Netherlands in the year as well.
