Checked Shirt Festival attracts thousands of young professionals

The digital fair, which was held from Thursday to Sunday, was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People's Government of Liaoning province.

Originally known as the China International Software and Information Service Trade Fair, it was established in 2003 and was upgraded to the current national-level platform in 2019.

According to Qin, the previous attendees were mostly industry executives in suits. To attract more young professionals to the fair, they planned the creative event named after the checked shirt specifically for IT professionals.
