Guangdong Museum presents Syrian antiquities

An exhibition of ancient Syrian antiquities spanning the time from the Paleolithic period to the 18th century was launched at the Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Thursday.

The 210 pieces and sets on display come from nine Syrian museums and four Chinese museums.

In one of the sections of the exhibition, antiquities reflecting the everlasting trade and cultural exchanges between China and West Asia facilitated by the Silk Road are displayed.

The exhibition will run for three months, with free smart exhibition guide devices provided.
