Book on how China is modernizing released

The Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has released a book titled China's Model of Modernization Face to Face to help people better understand the country's modernization path. The book provides answers to 17 major questions about the country's modernization model. It adheres to the standpoint, viewpoint and methods of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and closely links with the great changes in the past decade of the new era.

New remote sensing satellites launched

China launched a Long March 2D carrier rocket on Thursday to place a group of three remote sensing satellites in space. The three satellites of the Yaogan 39 family were launched at 3:36 pm from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan and entered the planned orbit. The mission was China's 39th rocket launch this year and the 485th flight of the Long March rocket family, the nation's main launch vehicle fleet. China plans to carry out about 70 space missions this year.
