The ocean is not Japan's backyard. It's the home we share. If nuclear contaminated water is safe, it does not need to be discharged to the sea. And if it is not safe, it should not be discharged to the sea. If there is really no problem, the Japanese government should open the sampling of Fukushima waters by other countries, and the data should be open and transparent.
