Tokyo cheers up for come-back of China Festival
"Forty-five years ago, the treaty formally established the principles and directions for the development of lasting peace and friendship between China and Japan in a legal form, setting a timeless and ever-renewing foundation for bilateral interactions. Currently, the China-Japan relationship faces a complex and challenging environment, but the importance of China-Japan relations remains unchanged. The overarching direction of peaceful cooperation and friendship outlined in the treaty cannot change," Wu said.
The Chinese embassy in Japan is willing to work together with all sectors of society to ensure that the China Festival will bring more people into friendly exchanges, enhance mutual understanding and trust, and jointly promote the improvement and development of China-Japan relations, he said.
