Xi's Thought on Culture provides road map for cultural advancement

China Daily | Updated: 2023-10-12 08:03

Thought will help build a modern socialist country

The development of socialism with Chinese characteristics has been driven by the CPC's strong sense of cultural confidence and rich practical experience since the 18th CPC National Congress. And Xi Jinping Thought on Culture is the theoretical fruit of Xi's idea of cultural advancement.

To advance Chinese culture, the requirements include strengthening the Party's leadership over public communication and cultural work; developing a socialist ideology that can unite and inspire the people; cultivating and applying core socialist values; strengthening the penetration and credibility of the media and their ability to guide and influence the people; developing and transforming fine traditional Chinese culture; vigorously developing the cultural sector and enhancing international communication capacity; and promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations.

Xi Jinping Thought on Culture will help us achieve breakthroughs in cultural theory and practice, both at the macro and micro levels, and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It is the result of the integration of Marxist cultural theories with China's fine traditional culture.

In short, Xi Jinping Thought on Culture will provide strong spiritual strength to build a modern socialist country and realize the great national rejuvenation.
