A recent image shows construction of a bearing platform at the Xin'an River rail bridge project on the Jinhua-Jiande High-speed Railway in Zhejiang province. China Railway 24th Bureau Group Corp, a unit of infrastructure giant China Railway Construction Corp and builder of the bridge, said the project is on track for scheduled completion, with building of the bridge's main body to begin in December. The HSR, a key project linking Zhejiang with major cities in the Yangtze River Delta like Shanghai, is expected to begin operations by the end of next year. [PHOTO/CHINA DAILY]
