World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit to kick off

The 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit will be held from Nov 8 to 10 in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province, according to the press conference which was held by World Internet Conference Organization in Beijing today.
Themed as "Creating an Inclusive and Resilient Digital World Beneficial to All - Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace", the 2023 WIC Wuzhen Summit will hold 20 sub-forums on a wide range of topics, including digital cooperation on the Global Development Initiative, the collaborative transformation of digitalization and green development, data governance, computing network, artificial intelligence, as well as youth and digital future, in addition to an opening ceremony and a plenary session. New features will be added to this year's summit as it marks its 10-year milestone.
The Wuzhen Summit 10-Year Commemorative Honor will be presented to organizations and individuals that have made significant contributions to the event and the World Internet Conference Organization.
The Global Youth Leadership Program will be set up for the first time to establish an international platform for mutual learning, exchange and cooperation among promising youth in the internet field.
The World Internet Science and Technology Museum in Wuzhen, the first large internet-themed museum in the world, will debut showcasing key technologies, figures and events of the internet.
Novelty features will also be found this year in such signature events as the Release Ceremony for World Leading Internet Scientific and Technology Achievements, Practice Cases of Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace, the Light of Internet Expo and the "Straight to Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition.
A WIC council and Member Representative Symposium will also be held on the sidelines of the summit.
The 2023 Wuzhen Summit is hosted by the WIC and undertaken by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. International organizations, including the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the GSMA, are supporting the event.
