Around 100 Chinese publishers bring 5,000 titles to Frankfurt Book Fair

Nearly a hundred Chinese publishing units participated at the 75th Frankfurt Book Fair and showcased over 5,000 titles of high-quality books, engaging in fruitful collaborations and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
Academic publications were prominently displayed, with a focus on facilitating copyright exports. Notable exhibits included the first to third volumes of the Revitalization Library series, A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings and the Liangzhu Civilization Series.
Chinese publishing units actively engaged with renowned international publishing groups such as Springer Nature and Cengage Learning during the exhibition.
Collaborative efforts included signing copyright export agreements, cooperative publications, and launching new books in both German and English languages. Additionally, seminars and dialogues were conducted, bringing together prominent experts, scholars, writers, and publishers from China and abroad. These activities focused on exploring China's style of modernization, highlighting the distinctive features of Chinese civilization, discussing global initiatives on civilization, and fostering cultural exchanges and mutual learning.
Ten accomplished authors, including Zhu Yong and Zhang Chu, participated in the exhibition under the theme "China's Stories in Dialogue with the World."
Various events were held to effectively convey China's rich narratives to a global audience through literature.
