Daxing Airport welcomes additional flights and routes for upcoming season
More international flights and routes will be operated from Beijing Daxing International Airport during the upcoming winter and spring civil aviation season, which will start on Sunday, the airport said.
The new season will start on Sunday and end on March 30. During the season, a total of 21 airlines plan to operate 29 cross-border passenger flights, including the ones from and to the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan.
China Southern Airlines plans to add five new international routes to Almaty, Nagoya, Singapore, Riyadh and Teheran, and will operate more flights to Hong Kong.
China Eastern Airlines will open a new route to Tokyo Haneda and Xiamen Airlines will launch flights to and from Doha, Qatar.
On Oct 20, direct international flights between Doha and Beijing Daxing opened, operated by Xiamen Airlines, with round trips operating every day.
