Opera company signs digital deal

The China National Peking Opera Company announced it will partner with Migu Video, the digital content subsidiary of China Mobile, to release a series of Peking Opera productions online from Wednesday.
Twenty-four classic Peking Opera productions will be streamed online, allowing more audience to enjoy the ancient art form as well as attracting a younger fan base.
And 240 videos about Peking Opera as well as 240 digital books about the art form will also be released online.
From 2021 to 2023, the China National Peking Opera Co has worked with the online platform to stream its shows during Spring Festival.
