Hebei farmers prep hawthorn harvest for consumption

Farmers in Zunhua, Tangshan, Hebei province, have recently been busy processing hawthorn fruits after their autumn harvest, preparing them to be purchased by customers.

In recent years, the city has made significant progress in ecological restoration and helped farmers cultivate hawthorn trees on barren slopes.

The progress has contributed to an increased income for local farmers, as well as the green transformation of local hills.

Currently, the hawthorn tree plantation in the city covers an area of over 667 hectares.
