Bologna hosts art exhibition featuring Italian and Chinese painters

Meanwhile, Deng Hong, secretary-general of the Guangdong International Culture Association, signed a letter of intent with Maria Azzolina, president of the Italy-China Institute, to promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between Guangdong province and Italy at the opening ceremony.

The exhibition is part of the "2023 Charming China - Cultural Exhibition from Guangdong" programs hosted by the information office of the Guangdong provincial government and the Guangdong provincial department of culture and tourism.

The programs will also be held in Egypt and Malaysia after Italy. They aim to promote cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and European, African, and Asian countries, and to showcase the heritage of Chinese culture and the charm of Lingnan culture to the world.

Chen Jianwen, head of the provincial publicity department and president of the provincial international culture association, and Liu Kan, Chinese consul general in Milan, attended the opening ceremony with senior officials of the Bologna municipal government and witnessed the signing ceremony.
